I'm pissed...my comp is so vulnerable...ram corrupted my hard drive and then i had to defrag(or whatever that is) for 2 and a half DAYS! that was last on sunday...now, its infected with some trojan, which i probably let it passed thru my firewall as i thought it was nothing...then it hijacked my internet explorer, and directs me to an 404 page, and asking me to click on the link which has the URL of the webbie i want to go to...after clicking that, it directs me to www.findwhatevernow.com....sigh...

in simple words, wherenever i try to enter IE, it would display www.findwhatevernow.com, no matter how i try to go yahoo or hotmail, or some big company URL, i will be directed back to www.findwhatevernow.com...

its irritating. reason why i can type now is because, hi5 is not one of the sites registered to be blocked on my computer...

wanted to system restore, but almost all my windows applications were corrupted earlier on by the stupid RAM...

luckily google was not blocked, i search for the uninstallation, but there was none to be found but 1 result, a forum. inside there is one guy who experienced the same problem like i do...and no one in there knows how to solve it...

2 ways: 1) backup all IE.dll files downloaded from the net, but i don't know where should i patch it.... 2) reinstall IE, but for 15 years of my life, i don't know how IE got onto my comp in the first place. (by cd, or comes with winxp?)

LAST RESORT: reformat... was going to do so anyway (corrupted ram corrupted many files in the hd), but was waiting all the time because, some files needs to be backed up, and my bro wants to do it...(anyway, i'm not sure how to backup anyway)
